SnapLayer LTD Feature Transparency

All features we add to your tier — now or in the future — will be included in your LTD. We will not pull the classic "new tier" trick and leave LTD users behind on a frozen legacy plan. If your tier grows, you grow with it.

The Elephant in the Room: AI

We want to address this early and clearly. We don’t even know yet if we’ll add AI to SnapLayer. The core of SnapLayer is image design, personalization at scale, and making bulk image creation easy, fast, and intuitive - not AI.

That said, AI is becoming more common everywhere, and we’re exploring creative ideas for how it might enhance SnapLayer in the future. But here’s the reality: AI is expensive.

How It Would Work (If We Add AI)

If we introduce AI-powered features, you will get access to those features as part of your LTD tier. The only possible limitation is usage costs - meaning you might need to:

• Bring your own API key (BYOK), or
• Purchase AI credits inside the app (one-time or recurring).

This might even apply to monthly subscribers too. We may make BYOK a standard option for everyone so people can use their own AI keys instead of paying extra subscriptions.

Why We’re Saying This

This is not a bait-and-switch. It’s an honest effort to avoid future LTD drama and set clear expectations upfront.

We don’t want to limit SnapLayer’s evolution or block AI innovation just because it wouldn’t be feasible to cover ongoing AI token costs for all LTD users. So - we’re being transparent now, before it’s even a thing.

The Bottom Line

You’ll always get every future feature we release for your tier. If AI arrives, you’ll have full access - you might just need to power it with your own key or optional credits.

If that doesn’t sit right with you and you only want a “free forever” AI tool, we understand - an AI-only LTD might be a better fit.

But if you want the most intuitive, powerful system for bulk image personalization, automation, and creative scaling, then you’re in the right place.
